 What’s in it?

• Lots of local information.  News articles, personal stories, things to do and places to go!
• Columns from local dog professionals.  Vets, shelter directors, trainers.
• KIDS + DOGS = FUN. A place for dog people who also happen to be kids.
• A place for you to express yourself! Do you have a photo of your dog that is the absolute cat’s meow? Have you written a poem or a story about your dog that you think we might all appreciate? Send it in. This is a paper for you too.
• Book reviews, new products, pet and people profiles, interviews, national resources, memorials, letters to the editor…lots of good stuff.
• A forum for discussion.  Many issues relating to dogs are complex, and (believe it or not!) dog lovers don’t always agree.  The Woofer Times is a place to explore and examine those important but not-so-simple questions.

 Where can you find it?

• Dog parks, vet offices, shelters, pet stores, boarding facilities – anywhere dog owners go. And of course, libraries, and coffee houses too.

 Why does it exist at all?

• Our goal is to provide ways to enhance the lives we and our dogs live together—by learning about them, by sharing our experiences with others in our communities, and by suggesting ways to just plain enjoy these wonderful animals.
